Anna Mclaren -  Director

Anna has spent 10 years in the merchant industry, she controls all operations here at Tap & Go. Her expertise and indepth knowledge allows her to expand and explore different strategies for growth.


Her focus is to grow the company and ensuring the staff and customers are at the face front of the business. She also sat her degree in Leeds Metropolitan University in 2018.

When not in the office, Anna is with her daughter and soon to be husband exploring the world.

What do you enjoy about Tap & Go: the atmosphere is brilliant, everyone enjoys coming to work and going the extra mile. No day is ever the same! Watching agents grow and develop and all the great feedback we receive daily from our customers!  

Ray Ingleby – CEO  

In 1990 Ray moved to the U.S. and formed Ingleby Communications Corporation (ICC). ICC’s first acquisition was Ray Simon Inc. (a corporate Communications Company) for $1m. Ray Simon Inc. produced large sales meetings for clients such as Ford, Warner Lambert, Kraft, and IBM. ICC then raised another $4m and bought 4 similar meeting companies. 

 In 2001 Ray founded and was the Chairman and Managing Director of Axiomlab (an internet and technology start up investment fund) which he took public on the AIM at 5p a share, valuing the company at £10m. 

 In 2012 Ray became a consultant to several companies including Guest Services Worldwide (GSW), which he subsequently bought. GSW operate in 38 countries and have clients which include: Four Seasons, Hilton, and Leading Hotels of the World, Sotheby, Savills BMI and the NHS. 

 Rays’ repertoire continues with his latest acquisition Tap & Go which he has led them to becoming an ISO with 2 major banks approval and thoroughly enjoying the new challenges it presents. 

Nichola Eagle - Head Of Business Development

As Head of Business Development, Nichola’s role is to lead, manage, and deliver an efficient and effective service to customers whilst planning for growth and continuous improvement within a fast-moving industry. All whilst ensuring our team are well equipped to deliver our goal of being the best service provider in the industry.  


When she isn’t working, Nichola enjoying spending time with her daughter Isabella and being “Chief gin taster” for her husband’s gin company. 

What do you enjoy about Tap & Go: Unlike some companies, Nichola doesn’t feel restricted at Tap & Go, and feels there “is no red tape” and loves that Tap & Go are “transparent and Ethical” with their customers. 

Nicola Dean - Head of HR

Nicola completed her degree in Business and Management at Leeds University and then went on to becoming one of the youngest managers within Marks & Spencer’s.  

 Nicola studied and became qualified in Human Resources and currently works for Guest Services Worldwide Ltd and all its groups as HR Manager and Executive Assistant to the Owner & CEO. One of these groups being Tap&Go where she enjoys learning a new aspect in business practices and the diversity of the new exciting and dynamic payment sector. 

What do you enjoy about Tap & Go:  she enjoys learning a new aspect in business practices. 

Rick Cole – Head of Finance 

Rick is responsible for all month-end processes and responsible for month-end closure. Produce month end reports and analysis to the Board. Key contributor in the budgeting and forecasting process. Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of annual audit schedules, including balance sheet reconciliations. 

His background is Four years working for Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management/Hargreave Hale as the accountant for the Venture Capital Trust. Eight years as Xchanging Procurement Services working on various international customer contracts. Graduate (BSc Hons) of Loughborough University in Sports Technology. 

What you like about Tap & Go: I like the honesty of the company, there’s no corporate sales strategy, it’s about taking care of the customers and their business.
